SQL Plan with Explain Plan Tool

To create role plustrace

must be created plan table 

SQL>@$ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/admin/plustrce.sql

to show query, execution plan and statistics  

SET AUTOTRACE ON

to show execution plan and statistics 

SET AUTOTRACE TRACEONLY

to show execution plan

SET AUTOTRACE TRACEONLY EXPLAIN

to show statistics  

SET AUTOTRACE TRACEONLY STATISTICS

to show query 

SET AUTOTRACE OFF
